Kara Schmidt

Research Assistant

Kara Schmidt is a graduate from the University of Maryland, College Park with a degree in Hearing and Speech Sciences. At the University of Maryland, she spent time as a Research Assistant for the Cognition and Language Processing Lab as well as the Language and Cognition Lab, where she studied real-time language processing in the brain with a focus on cognitive control. Kara is excited to be a part of The Focus Foundation and hopes to become a Speech-Language Pathologist one day.
