Research Assistant

Supports data collection, analysis, and the preparation of research studies at The Focus Foundation. A graduate of Louisiana State University with a degree in psychology and special education, Suzanne brings over a decade of experience supporting individuals with developmental and behavioral differences, having worked with children and young adults ranging in age from six weeks through adulthood as a former special education teacher and behavior analyst.

She has also completed postgraduate work in behavioral analysis and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in neuropsychology and neuroscience, where her thesis focuses on the intersection of neuroscience and mental health. Suzanne is passionate about advancing awareness, reducing stigma, and promoting research surrounding disabilities and neurodevelopmental conditions. She serves as head coach of a girls’ private school lacrosse program and lives in the Annapolis, MD, area with her dog, Luna, and her cat, Phoebe.
