Patricia Lasutschinkow is an alumnus of the University of Chicago, earning a B.A. in Psychology, Human Development, and English. She joins The Focus Foundation after spending 2 years within the Molecular Psychiatry Program at Johns Hopkins University, where she assisted on a study investigating first episode psychosis in individuals between the ages of 16 and 35 and their families. Patricia also has experience from laboratories at the University of Chicago in language development and eye tracking in infants as well as math anxiety in children. Patricia has volunteered in various organizations aiming to provide individualized literacy, language, and mathematics programming to children in under-resourced communities and currently volunteers with a crisis line organization for teenagers and adolescents in need. As a part of the Focus Foundation team, Patricia is looking forward to continuing her passion of working with children and their families as they grow!
