Colleen Keen is an alumnus of the University of Maryland, Baltimore County earning a B.A. in Health Administration and Public Policy with a track in Public Health and a minor in Psychology. She joins The Focus Foundation after nearly 2 years spent within the behavioral biology department of Walter Reed. She assisted on studies investigating sleep-drug relations, overpressure and blast exposure, mTBI and blood biomarkers that served to advance medical research for soldiers and law enforcement personnel. Colleen also has experience from an academic laboratory investigating social determinants of cardiovascular health. Colleen has volunteered with various service-learning organizations directly involved in improving educational opportunities and environmental outcomes in underserved populations. Colleen joined The Focus Foundation in February 2015, and hopes to positively contribute to the aspirations of The Focus Foundation and the many families and children we serve.
